This recipe from Half Baked harvest has a rich flavor that allows your crockpot to do all the work. I have the All Clad crockpot where the insert can go from stove- top to crock pot saving time and effort. I opted for the slow-cooker method on low and let it cook for 8 hours. I found that I had lots of extra sauce for 1 pound of pasta so I ended up freezing the extra for another time. I served this with some Buttermilk marinated, Greek-seasoned Chicken ( in the archives) on the side, and added a little Burrata for extra creaminess and fresh basil for garnish.
