These Blondies are a great base for a variety of flavors. You could add white chocolate, butterscotch and nuts to the recipe and adjust the recipe to suit your taste. It also has the benefit of being mixed by hand, no special kitchen equipment required. I love the reeses chips, they have a good peanut butter flavor but not overwhelming. Happy baking!

Yield: 16 small squares or 9 large
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cu all purpose flour
- 1 cup firmly packed golden brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup Reese’s peanut butter baking chips
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line the bottom of an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and spray sides with cooking spray. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugars eggs and vanilla until well incorporated. In a smaller bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt to combine. Add dry mixture to wet mixture and stir well with a wooden spoon until flour combination is fully mixed in. Add the peanut butter chips to distribute in batter. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for about 30-35minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool on a wire rack and cut into squares. Enjoy!
