I am a huge fan of almost every kind of salad and this one in particular combines elements from the classic greek salad with a few other ingredients that make it a delicious addition to a picnic lunch or buffet table.  I like to use cherry or san Marzano tomatoes as they tend to have the best flavor, but I wold recommend that you find the most flavorful variety available.  I also prefer the small Persian cucumbers which also tend to be better than the larger variety. I would suggest arranging your salad on a large white serving platter which is the perfect way to showcase this colorful dish.
