I have been making this recipe for a long time and it remains a family favorite….I often make a double batch of the sauce as it freezes well and can be used as a red sauce for pretty much any purpose. Extra chicken makes for a fabulous sandwich the next day! The chicken marinated in buttermilk tenderizes the chicken and allows a sticky surface for panko and Parmesan to adhere. Serve alongside a Caesar Salad or green salad of your choice and some great grilled bread.
