This seasonal recipe is a perfect snack and always a great addition to a bowl full of yogurt in the morning.  It also makes a wonderful love gift in a package.  I added an egg white in the mixture which helps to prevent the granola from getting soggy from the addition of pumpkin which has a lot of water in it.  If you are going for a vegan version, this could easily be omitted, but your granola will not have as much crunch.  The bananas and cranberries are so good with that pumpkin flavor and the nuts.
