This meal rarely disappoints as it has full of delicious Greek flavors and relies on a marinade that complements the beef perfectly. I use flat-iron beef for this recipe– it grills quickly and sliced thinly across the grain and it is tender and less expensive than many other cuts of beef. The key to success is letting the meat marinate sufficiently and grilling the meat. I like to serve this with rice pilaf and a hearty Greek salad and of course tsatsiki.  You can find my tsatsiki recipe here — don’t forget to strain your yogurt!
