The outer bands of Hurricane Harvey are bearing down on us in Houston, but we are being spared the brunt of mother nature’s fury….we still have power which makes it a perfect baking day. This bread is moist and wholesome and is ready in just about an hour. Delicious for breakfast or for a mid-afternoon snack. There are plenty of options for add-ins, but I love the combo of dates and walnuts with the cinnamon.

So delicious!! I made two loaves tonight and everyone loved it! I told my boys it was zucchini bread and they turned their noses up but after the first bite they wanted another slice!!!
