This pasta recipe comes from one of my favorite blogs for pasta recipes Halfbakedharvest. The dish relies on avocados for its creamy consistency and has lots of fresh basil for wonderful flavor. The ribbons of zucchini are a perfect addition. I substituted about 7 oz of pancetta for the bacon in the recipe and added a little extra puréed avocado in the sauce and omitted the egg. The recipe calls for bucatini, I used spaghetti, and I think Linguine or fettuccini would also work well in this recipe. I served this with grilled chicken and salad. Beautiful and delicious!
