This is a great recipe that has served me very well for many years. It is adapted from Cook’s Illustrated and comes together very quickly and can be prepared and baked in about 40 minutes. I like to use frozen wild blueberries when fresh blueberries are not at peak, but otherwise, I opt for fresh. The bananas on the top are optional, but add a nice hint of fruit flavor. What a great smell to fill a kitchen any morning of the week!
