I adapted this recipe is adapted from a lovely food blogger Urban Kitchen Apothecary. It relies on the fresh produce of summer for all the flavor and can be made in about 30 minutes. The original recipe suggested the possibility of serving the soup in an  espresso cup or shooter which which would be a wonderful idea for an appetizer at a summer party. I loved the green garlic in the soup.  If it is not available at your local market, you could always use a bunch of scallions and some shallots as a substitute.  The sprinkle of crushed red pepper at the end adds a bit of heat, but you could omit and use some Smoky Paprika if you prefer.  Serve with some toasted bread with rubbed garlic. All in all — nutritious and delicious!
