A great key lime pie is a treat.  I have been making this dessert for many years and while it is a bit more time consuming to make individual tarts, they are adorable and make for a lovely presentation.  If you want less hassle, you could follow the same recipe and place the crust and pie in a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.  The pie holds well in the fridge and is equally delicious.  I like to garnish my tart with some berries and a coulis which adds some color to the plate and a splash of fresh fruit.  A slight twist on the traditional recipe.
