I love all the flavors and textures in these cookies, and browning the butter also adds a rich dimension to the taste.   The tart cherries are perfect with the chocolate and the hints of coconut are great with the oatmeal.  I always under-bake my cookies just a bit as I prefer a chewier cookie.  Always opt for high quality baking sheets, I have found that the ones that have air in the middle tend to work best and help insure that the cookies keep evenly and don’t get overdone on the edges.
